A JAMES BOND-STYLE CREDITS SEQUENCE FOR THE EMPIRE STRIKES BACK, FEATURING RADIOHEAD

Star Wars - Episode V "The Empire Strikes Back" Homage (Title Sequence) from KROFL on Vimeo.

It starts off with Luke trapped in the Wampa’s ice lair. It fades to a close-up of Luke’s lightsaber, and then the camera goes INSIDE the saber. The circuitry then morphs into a schematic on an X-Wing, which then does its trench run through the first Death Star. Let us not forget about the “gratuitous main character falling” shot. This time, it’s Luke falling towards a large Darth Vader mask which shoots the red lightsaber beam from its eyes. Remember, if this is supposed to pay homage to Bond, then it’s not supposed to make complete sense. It’s just supposed to look REALLY cool. On that score, this 100% succeeds.
